Filterworld ST grade filter elements and housings meet the requirements of HTM2022. Particle removal is down to 0.01 micron with a clean & dry pressure loss of less than 100 mbar. The element(s) must be autoclaved prior to the commencement of duty.
Pressure flow rate multipliers must be applied for working pressures other than 7 barg. Please click on the link shown above for the applicable multiplier.
*Filter housings STFW05 to STFW64 inclusive have a maximum working pressure of 16 barg at operating temperatures not exceeding 65 deg C (150 deg F) and not less than 1.5 deg C (35 deg F). Filter housings STFW72 to STFW85 inclusive have a maximum working pressure of 10 barg at operating temperatures not exceeding 65 deg C (150 deg F) and not less than 1.5 deg C (35 deg F). These filter housings can operate at higher or lower temperatures, however the maximum working pressure must be de-rated. Please contact the factory for further information. ST grade elements are designed for steam sterilisation at a temperature not exceeding 137 deg C (279 deg F) in accordance with the maximum temperatures (tolerances included) stated in BS-EN 285.
Standard Vacuum Pump Protection. Ported Aluminium Housings.
(1st January 2005).
Filterworld vacuum pump protection filters are suitable for low and high vacuum applications. The filters should be sited upstream of the vacuum pump, thereby protecting the mechanical workings of the pump. Flow rates quoted below are based upon air at atmospheric pressure and a correction factor must be applied if the air flow rate is not stated at atmospheric conditions.
